I receive hundreds of requests and I am doing my best to go through these. For now, there are a couple of reasons why I will be (temporarily) stepping away from the requests; this is only whilst I think of a new plan.
All images on Jelly Journal are either official Jellycat images - used within context and to promote Jellycat, my own images or images I have permission to use. I have had so many requests where the images provided are not your own. The images have been taken from eBay, Etsy and general google searches etc. Now, you may be wondering what the big deal is! Let me explain;
Any image you see online will originate and belong to someone, because they took it. You always need permission if you’re wanting to then showcase that image online etc. In this day and age where content sharing/reusing is at an all time high, it is still important to do things correctly. Basically you cannot send me an ‘eBay’ image, (which I assume is yours) and have a jelly profile made. You probably have the Jellycat, so if you wanted to snap me a wonderful photo - that would be amazing! I shall be incorporating uploading tips on Request a Jellycat as soon as possible!
